Has your vehicle lost something? Is your old friend feeling its age? As an engine ages, it loses performance and power. Over time, seals can deteriorate, oil consumption increases and gaskets become brittle. This can all lead to a decrease in gas mileage and engine performance.

We recommend using Puratech's Oil System Cleaner along with the High Mileage Oil Supplement since this additive works by bonding to scratches and damaged metal surfaces on your engine's combustion chamber walls. If there is a build up of varnish inside the engine, the additive will have a more difficult time bonding to metal surfaces. While the High Mileage Oil Supplement works well by itself, it is most efficient when used in with Oil System Cleaner. A clean engine will ensure the additive does not remain suspended in the engine oil and fail to do its job.

After the oil filter and engine oil is replaced, the High Mileage Oil Supplement is added to your engine oil. As you leave our store, the additive will disperse within the engine to bond with damaged engine walls and revitalize vital gaskets and seals within the engine.
