| 6. 7000 Fails to transfer oil to waste oil tank: |
| a. Set mode switch to discharge. |
| b. Remove the back cover and check the actuator valve position; see valve position versus mode on Page 23. |

7. In cool/cold weather, extraction time is slow: |
| a. The minimum engine oil temperature is 125 degrees. The warmer the oil, the better it will draw. |
| b. On cool/cold days before commencing extraction, check the engine temperature to ensure that the oil is operating temperature. |

8. Unusual noise in pump: |
| a. Return Function Control switch to "Off" and operate pump in recirculate mode for 45 seconds. |
| b. If noise persists, turn the Unit Power switch to "Off". Contact John Read at (925) 734-5800. |
