Lawrence A. Read

Lawrence Read is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Lube Management Corporation (LMC). LMC is the holding company of Oil Changer, Inc., one of the largest, independently owned quick lube chains in the United States.

Starting production in 1986 with three employees, Oil Changers now employs over 400 employees with stores in Northern and Southern California.

Oil Changer is an Inc. 500 company and was selected as the 20th fastest growing privately held company in America during the past five years. Mr. Read was also awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year Award sponsored by Merrill Lynch, Ernst & Young, and the University of California.

Mr. Read is a charter member of the National Association of Independent Lubes. He has been a leading entrepreneur in the insurance brokerage founding IRI Marketing in 1969 and held the position of President and Chairman of the Board until 1982. In 1979, he was named to "Who's Who" in the insurance industry and has received numerous industry-marketing awards.
Mr. Read is a graduate of Linfield College. He is married to his wife, Janet and has two children, 21 years and 19 years. He resides in Alamo, California.

John V. Read

John Read is one of the founders of Oil Changers. Mr. Read has a BS Degree in Business Administration from Linfield College. Mr. Read is the President of LMC Construction, Inc., an affiliate of Lube Management Corporation.

He is also the President of the California Oil Change Association and a past founding board member of the AOCA (Automotive Oil Change Association). Mr. Read is licensed as a building contractor in the states of Oregon, California, Washington and Alaska. His building experience spans 30 years in all types of construction.

Charles N. Pass

Charles Pass is Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors in the Company and LMC. Prior to joining LMC in 1989, Mr. Pass had been Vice President of Finance and Administration for Milne Trucking Company, a subsidiary of Sun Carriers, commencing in 1985.

Mr. Pass is a Certified Public Accountant who has worked with several regional and national accounting firms. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts. Mr. Pass graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in accounting.
